Video work in Munich, Germany
As an Electronic Media Major at the College-Conservatory of Music of the University of Cincinnati,
I have focused a large amount of my studies on video production. As General Manager of the student television station, I have learned a great deal about production management, planning, and organization, as well as other necessary leadership skills.Along with working on a number of short student films, I have also had the opportunity to create music videos, one of which won the Grand Prize in Music Videos at the National Broadcasting Society National Electronic Media Competition. The video “On My Farm” was a lot of fun to work on, so winning an award was both surprising and a great reward for the hard work of the group.

The most beneficial video experience I have experienced while in school was writing, directing, and producing a 20 minute film for a course titled “Senior Project.” This film began preproduction in February of 2010 and was completed June 10th, so it definitely became a focus of my life for a few months. I learned so much from the experience and feel as if the entire production team now has a great visual representation of all of their hard work to show family, friends, and potential employers.
